Dili, 19 February 2026 – The Feasibility Study Secretariat, through the Integrated Planning Unit of the Ministry of Planning and Strategic Investment (MPSI), held its inaugural meeting with the Consultant for the Mota Belulik Water Resources Development Scheme in Ainaro.
The objective of the meeting was to:

Align the overall project objectives and define project success criteria;

Clarify the scope of services and deliverables in accordance with the Terms of Reference (TOR);

Confirm the critical path and key methodology for the Feasibility Study process;

Confirm team roles, mobilization plans, client inputs, and review protocols;
-
Agree on immediate actions, responsible parties, and timelines;
-
Identify risks, mitigation measures, and next steps.
The meeting was attended by technical members officially appointed to represent relevant institutions within the Technical Working Group for the Mota Belulik Dam Feasibility Study Project, Ainaro Municipality. The meeting was held at the ADN, IP meeting room.
This Feasibility Study represents an important step in ensuring sustainable water resource development planning, contributing to economic and social development in the area.
