The Coordinator of the Integrated Planning Unit (UPI), Ms. Epi Orleães, who also serves as the ASEAN Focal Point from the Ministry of Strategic Investment and Planning (MPIE), led a professional technical team to participate in the First Regional Consultation Meeting with the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Sectoral Body on the ASCC Results Framework.
The meeting was held over two days, on 27–28 January 2026, in Pasay City, Philippines, and was organized using a hybrid modality, combining in-person and virtual participation. The UPI–MPIE team participated virtually via Zoom Meeting from the ADN Hall, I.P Meeting Room, Fatuhada, Dili.
The main objectives of this first Regional Consultation Meeting were to:

Finalize the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);

Refine the definitions and operational formulations of the indicators;

Determine the level of indicators (regional or national) and their data disaggregation, including sex, age groups, and other relevant categories;

Discuss institutional arrangements and the timeline for baseline data collection and the development of the baseline report.
The ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) is the third pillar of ASEAN, with a strong focus on:
